Manufacturing: "Made in the USA"

Manufacturers are currently being forced to make a decision of whether to outsource some of their operation to foreign companies in order to decrease production costs, increase revenues and to keep their business functioning. The Waxman-Markey Bill is extremely necessary to improve the current environmental condition but, on the downside, would also increase the already high rate of unemployment. A happy medium needs to be found in order decrease manufacturing’s carbon foot-print, while simultaneously creating jobs in hopes of ending the “Great Recession”.

Green Manufacturing could be the solution that we have all been looking for. It has the capabilities to help improve the current status of the economy if all products were 100% domestically made and slowing our environmental decline. Though currently trends show that the majority of Green Manufacturing is “Assembled in the U.S.A.” and not “Made in the U.S.A.”. This could be in part to wind turbine and solar panel manufacturers having to campaign for laws to handicap fossil fuel competitors so that they have a fighting chance of being successful in the energy industry.

Wolverine Machine is dedicated to being as environmentally friendly as possible. Recently acquiring water jet machinery, and installing a water recycling system which recycles 100% of all water used. All parts produced by Wolverine Machine are proud to be, “Made in the U.S.A.”
